Gervais Cazin, breeder of Magistère, about Ata, born in Tunisia 2009, comment February 12
2022 on Facebook
We are delighted to notice that little DANHA is a real beauty.
The marriage of Ward al Yasmeen Barak & Magistère Oliban has had an excellent result. This
does not surprise us, as the sire has Ben Bahram origins and Magistère on all the lines in his
pedigree, which avoided diluting the type.
So that you can breed in the best possible conditions, we take the liberty of filling in the
missing origins to the best of our knowledge. Without papers does not mean without origins.
The Tunisian breeding of Mr Nabli, present on the paternal line through Ata, has used starting
in 2009: Magistère Vajra on several of his bitches, then Ben Bahram Fares-Megouar joined in
2010 by 2 Sloughis Siham, granddaughter and grandson of Ben Bahram Azrou. Before this
date, there were no red sand Sloughis with the Nabli family, and even fewer black coats or
coats with dark overlay.
Ata, father Ben Bahram Fares-Megouar X mother (daughter or granddaughter} of Magistère
Vajra.
Magistère Vajra is present in first and or second generation on a large number of Mr Nabli's
breeding stock and certain European exports.
For us, the terms pure Tunisian and pure Moroccan have no place. We can compare the
history of the Sloughi with that of the Arabian thoroughbred horse. Certain bloodlines have
left their country of origin only to return, and the resulting genetic mix can only be beneficial
for the breed, even if for certain breedings in the Maghreb their bloodlines are mainly
European.
We have attached some photos of Magistère Vajra and Ben Bahram Fares-Megouar and some
of their descendants, you will easily recognise our type.
We hope you find these details useful.
Yours sincerely
