Although evidently many other Sloughis have contributed to their pedigrees, it is interesting
to note that some of the top racers and coursers in Germany (Ksar Ghilane), Finland (Qalb
Elassad and Quetshadee) and the USA (Shi’Rayan) have this phenomenal Sloughi in their
pedigrees. In fact, Aswad, Amir and A’Ssissa Shi’Rayan, who established milestones for the
breed in the USA in shows, coursing and racing are grandkids of Scha’iq, and his line has
been passed on to their descendants in Europe and the USA.
