I’ve always found Weimaraners terribly easy to

general pleasure to have around. They cause
you no problems and have a straight forward
attitude. I find males easier - bitches have a
little more of a mind of their own, a dog will live
to please you every minute. Whilst life has seen
me having more Gordon Setters living with me,
there has nearly always been a Weimaraner in
the house – for balance, and sanity! My latest
addition is Gunalt Hendricks, who has been

owned, a joy to show, and has started off his
show career with much promise – ending his
puppy career with a number of BP awards, a

I had the pleasure of handling to his first CC
Sh Ch Rutilus Esuberante for Hundwith from minor puppy, at his first show, from Andrew
Oliver as a puppy winning Best Puppy in Show Brace a few years ago. His dam, Sh Ch Gunalt
at the Weimaraner Association Adoptable to Ladwey, is owned by “Granny”
Linda Yewdall, who continues to be Hendricks
From a last litter, to Jacqui and Mick Ward’s number one fan and cheerleader. In a complete
incredible producer Sh Ch Gunalt Unstoppable circle, Marion McAngus now owns a baby puppy
for Mianja, Muse produced a litter of seven – Gunalt Fascinator, out of her Gunalt Articulate
typically, when we were desperate for a bitch, at Greyfurs and sired by Hendricks. We can
all males! Sh Ch Rutilus Esuberante for
Hundwith was one of these, who gained his
title, and who has gone on to sire Int Ch Rutilus
Oliver Sudden (only the second UK bred
Weimaraner to gain the title, after Int Ch Sireva
Drake of Sirius Nova), SA Ch Hundwith
Volante and most recently UK Sh Ch Hundwith
Chortle with Hookwood. Oliver still lives with
Annemarie, and we have semen stored from
him so who knows what the future may hold. As
with most good dogs of good pedigree, he has
           been used very little!

Sired by Inquisitor, I also owned Greyfurs Hot
Pink, who produced well especially in a litter to
Sh Ch Hundwith Duty to Sireva JW. This litter
produced Rutilus Last To Know, who gained
a SBN for his first time owners, and also SA Ch
Rutilus Dear Mr President, who has gone on to Sh Ch Gunalt Muse at Rutilus JW ShCM
be a useful sire for Weathervane weimaraners, Maizie the day she gained her third CC
as well as him picking up numerous CC’s
