K ALIMOR

The home of Kalimor Weimaraners is situated Emily was the hook that snared me and drew
in 135 acres of Hertfordshire countryside, 10 me into the show world. The many wins I had
minutes from Hertford town centre. with her were thrilling with enormous entries
in every class quite unlike entries at today’s
We moved here in 1981 which is when I shows. She won her first res CC at Crufts from
purchased my first Weimaraner, Czersieger Junior and then later went on to win another
Classic Cuty (Katy). She was bought purely as Crufts res CC and then the CC. Unfortunately
a pet and companion for my three daughters she shattered her front leg aged 5 and this cut
aged 12, 8 and 5, as they explored the land short her show career. She was the dam of my
around our new house. I had no intention second Show Champion….. Kalimor Kavanagh
of showing her at this point and it was the
encouragement from her breeder Sieglinde Kalimor
Czerwinski that led me down this path. Kavanagh JW

Katy did qualify for Crufts at the few shows that
I attended with her but for years I showed very
occasionally and definitely did not get bitten
by the show bug until I started showing her
daughter Sh Ch Kalimor Classic JW (Emily).
She was by a German dog Sascha Vom
Zehnthof at Aquila who spent some time in this
country living with Ines Dawes of Aquila affix.
