of the dog’s life. I think with a Sheltie, this is
even more important than for instance a Border
Collie.
Selfie is doing great and now just over 16 weeks
old and we’re both back in the UK and settling
back into our “normal” life, thankfully there
was no problems coming back to the UK from
Germany. Overall, we had a fantastic time and
the 5 weeks flew by!
I currently have “Selfie’s Online Puppy
Adventures” available to audit online, I post
regular videos of training we are doing online
and explain what/why I am doing this. Some
of these sessions are foundations of life skills,

While on walks, people keep their dog’s next to by Martin Reid
their side when walking past you,
or put them on lead – there’s no
dogs who have come running
over to me while the owner is
shouting “it’s ok he’s friendly!”
which we see all too many times
in the UK
5 weeks over here is a long
time, but really, I guess you
could say I have been in agility
heaven! Training on site with
some of the world’s best trainers,
great equipment, courses, and
surfaces. I have even been
lucky to participate in a couple
of competitions while I have
been over here, we had some
bad runs, however we also had
some great ones where we won a
couple of classes.
Overall the experience has been
great and I wouldn’t change
anything. Getting a puppy for me
at 15 weeks old, before was an
option. But now after being here
