than the unexpected drop in.
§ The best way to communicate with a Three is through text or
instant messaging. Many Threes have an inbox filled with unread emails and they may not get to their voicemails in a timely manner as they are always on the go trying to reach their goals. If you use email, let them know action is needed in the subject line.
§ In any mode of communication with a Three, get to the main point quickly and identify what action is required of them. Efficient communication, in whatever form, goes a long way. Bullets in emails work better then narratives. And short bullets are perceived even better. Make sure you put something in writing after it has been agreed to.
§ Text only if it will be more efficient, not if it will be perceived as an interruption or redundancy. Your message/request needs to be clear—what action is needed and, if possible, how it will benefit

Major PRINT® Threes are high energy achievers who enjoy rewards and are captains and winners of leading teams. Their unconscious motivator is to succeed and achieve. They seek to avoid failing or looking bad. In their Best Self, liking to achieve is their unconscious motivator. In Shadow, they must achieve in order to meet their unconscious motivator.
PRINT Threes know how to stay focused on how to accomplish goals. They strive to do their best and are self-driven, productive people with a “just do it” mentality. In Shadow, when they must accomplish and achieve, they become so attached to goals, success and achievement that they sometimes go for them at any cost—the ends justifying the
means, it’s all about winning. In Shadow, Threes become a little bit too focused on prestige, reward, recognition, and admiration.
In Best Self, Threes have stamina and are able to do things swiftly and efficiently—they are greatly multitaskers. Their motto is “signed, sealed and delivered.” They do not linger in projects. They get them done and move on.
When PRINT 3 is in Shadow, they must achieve and they can become so self-driven, it’s difficult to slow down and relax. They can become very difficult to be with. They can mask their true feelings and be very short on empathy. They can become impatient or intolerant when surrounded by incompetence.
Best Self Threes demonstrate hard work and perseverance and can succeed at anything they put their mind. They really do accomplish goals this way. Best Self Threes are adaptable, open to compromise, flexible, able to adapt to any audience, get on their wave length and connect with them They can be resilient in difficulties or with setbacks.
