3.7 How to apply for HAP?
•
• Some councils send your ‘HAP pack’ directly to you when you are
accepted on their housing list.
• HAP pack = Necessary paperwork for you & landlord to fill (part A
+ B), and information on how HAP works, see section 3.9.
With other councils, e.g DCC, you need to contact the Housing
Allocations section to get your HAP Pack.
Email your local authority with your housing reference number and proof of
income to request your HAP paperwork.
