• Accommodation is no longer suited to your needs (for example your family arrived under Family Reunification).
• Property needed for landlord/family member.
• Substantial Refurbishment or Renovation.
• Change of Use.
4.9 Your Responsibilities:
• Take good care of the property.
• Leave the property in a similar state at the end of the tenancy to
how you found it.
• We recommend that you take a video / or pictures when you
move in, so you have evidence of the condition the
accommodation.
• Pay rent, bills and for any damage you, your family or friends’
cause.
• Not to sublet unless the landlord agrees.
• Give access to the property for inspection and repairs (usually
provided you’ve been given 24 hours’ notice and it’s a reasonable
time).
4.10 If you are at risk of homelessness:
• Contact Threshold / the Simon Community for advice and support to make sure your notice of termination is valid.
• Contact the Irish Refugee Council on 01 7645854.
• Contact your local county council.
• If you become homeless in Dublin call the Dublin City Council
24-hour Homeless Helpline at 1800 707 707 or the Homeless Persons Unit at 1800 724 724
