Section 6 – Adjustments

6.2.2 – Gathering Point Height

1) Park the combine on a flat level surface and
lower the corn head to operating height as
shown on the previous page.
2) Turn the white knob (A) under the gathering
point until the wear point begins to touch the
ground.
3) Repeat the process for all remaining rows.

6.2.3 – Gathering Point Down-Pressure

1) Loosen the green knob (B) until it reaches the
rod end (D), or the spring (C) becomes loose.
This is zero ground pressure and should be
increased as field conditions require.
2) Repeat the process for all remaining rows.

Important: When the height is adjusted
with the white knob, the down pressure
setting will also be changed. Make sure to
recheck that the down pressure is acceptable
after adjusting the height.
