I believe everyone would agree that we are living in troubling times in our country.
1500 Walnut Street You cannot watch the news without hearing about shootings, violence, and civil unrest
Cary, NC 27511 in every part of our country and around the world. We are seeing more and more people
at odds with one another on how events should be handled. It is often confusing and
     (O) 800-628-8062 difficult to understand how we should live our lives in a way that will have a positive
     (F) 919-461-4958 influence on those around us.

Email Taking the advice from the Apostle Paul from Titus 2:13ff will guide us on how we
NCFOP@nc.rr.com should live, "Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live
soberly (with self-control), righteously, and godly, in this present world. Looking for
Web Site that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus
www.ncfop.org Christ, who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify
unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."
             President
Randy Hagler I cannot say that I lived these scripture verses out perfectly in my life as a police
rlhncfop@bellsouth.net officer. I can say that it certainly helped me in my relationship to others and to stay
focused on the things that were important, with Gods help, throughout my career and up
 Immediate Past President to today.

Ltronwyatt@yahoo.com You have now reached the point of no return for an opportunity during 2017 to submit
an article for the BlueNote. The November/December issue will be it for this year. With

this issue and throughout 2017. You may have noticed that it seems like the same mem-
Chariperson of Trustees bers submit articles for each issue. I want them to continue and we would like to hear
Chet Effler from other members and lodges as well. Help us make your BlueNote better by contrib-
