Cary, NC 27511 We hope everyone enjoyed the January/ February issue of the BlueNote. I would like
to personally thank everyone who contributed articles and Lodge activities. I would ask
     (O) 800-628-8062 all of our readers to submit articles of your Lodge’s activities. We need your articles in
     (F) 919-461-4958 order to continue to provide the BlueNote as a beneficial and useful publication. As I
have communicated in the past, do not be concerned if you feel that you are not a writer
Email because we are here to assist you. Just write the article and send it to us and, if necessary,
NCFOP@nc.rr.com we will make it look publication worthy.

www.ncfop.org graphs, and suggestions for improvement. All Lodges have elections and other activities
throughout the year which would be great material for a BlueNote submission.

Since the beginning of 2018, at least thirteen (13) law enforcement officers
Sergeant-At-Arms across the country have died while on duty. As of February 17th, eleven of
Greg Brown those were by gunfire. The attacks on law enforcement continues.

Brown_bg@earthlink.net We all wish and pray to see God’s protection on our law enforcement offic-
ers and their families. God works sometimes in ways we do not understand.
Chaplain Sometimes, God’s protection comes in the form of peace as law enforcement
Phil Wiggins officers face conflict and strength in the middle of despair as they serve. Some-
Prwiggins48@yahoo.com times, God’s protection comes as an ending because He sees something more
on the horizon that we cannot see.

courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your
Chariperson of Trustees God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy
Tony Staley 31:6. Also Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed,
for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with
