our input before any decisions are made.

   The final point that we made in each meeting was that the FOP was the largest law enforcement organization in
the Country and represented the profession at all levels. We stressed that these were the men and women that are
protecting our Country on a daily basis and are the true voice of law enforcement.

   I ask each FOP member to please review the Grand Lodge priorities and make certain you are familiar with what
their passage would mean. Some of these national priorities are not as critical to NC members as those in other
states but they all would affect some officers in NC. Hopefully you are a subscriber to the FOP Grassroots
Newsletter and are very familiar with all of this legislation. If not, please go to the Grand Lodge website
and subscribe. Any member having a question concerning any of this legislation, please contact either
President Hagler or myself for more information.
