EXODUS from EGYPT
The Hebrews left Egypt over 3,200 years ago. Yet every year, we recount the Pesah story to our children
of how HaShem took us from slavery, and guided us to the promise land of Israel. That moment in history
created the birth of the Jewish nation, Am Yisrael. Throughout generations, Jewish families around the world
have celebrated the feast of freedom with the reading of the Haggadah during the Seder nights. This story
is an inspiration to all, reflecting the nature of what a Jewish family represents: unity, courage and freedom.
The Sephardic Haggadah is dedicated to my parents,
Samuel and Esther Oziel z’l’. With their love, faith and
commitment, they made our Pesah Seders the most
enjoyable and spiritual experience for their children and
grandchildren. - I Oziel
