PESAH - THE HAG OF FAMILY AND TRADITION
Dear family,
For generations, Pesah has been, more than any other celebration, the Hag of family and tradi-
tion. On Pesah, Jewish families everywhere get together to celebrate and rejoice, and to recount our
liberation from slavery. And, this has been going on for more than 3200 years!
What is the secret of this longevity when many great civilizations have disappeared during those
3200 years? You guessed it! FAMILY and TRADITION
Family keeps us together not only as a family unit but also as a nation. Jews everywhere in the world
are our family. Israel is our common motherland. Tradition keeps reminding us who we are, where
do we come from, what are our beliefs. Tradition keeps reminding us to follow the teachings of our
forefathers, of our leaders, of our parents. I am very proud to be a Jew and very proud to be part of
this great family. It must be said that Papi and MamaEsther did a great job in keeping this family
together and perpetuating our beautiful traditions.
That is precisely the reason why Pesah has been so special to our family all these years.
Over the past two years, we were unable to get together for the Pesah Seders due to the pandemic
gathering restrictions. Baruch Hashem, this year we are excited and overjoyed that we are once again
celebrating Pesah together with the entire family, as we have always done.
To all of you, I wish you a Hag Sameah, 120 years of health, happiness and prosperity. Amen.
Lechana Haba’a Birushalayim!
