Climate Action Poverty Poem
Before we came Look at those people,
Before we were poisoned It’s so unequal
Lay a beautiful world They have nothing,
That stretched for the horizon We have everything
His soul was clean,
His mind was free We should help them,
His branches swayed Food for them is just like a gem
The flowers danced We should give them warm clothes,
While the tiny fairies pranced People who are poor I feel so bad for those
It was a magical place
Free from the human race People who don’t help them are mean,
But then we came along with our noses held high They don’t help even if they have seen them
We took our blessed earth We can offer them anything,
With endless food When we see them begging
Clean water
And free animals Helping poor is very good,
We tied them up Donating them is a should
We made our buildings We think that its very funny,
And we cut down trees When we donate them their day becomes funny
Our sky turned grey
We got lead astray Sayyam Mangla
Our minds full of greed MYP -1
Hearts full of misery
We ruined the sky
We let the rivers dry
But it’s our home,
And it’s dying fast.
