        CHACE DAVIS
Chace is a veteran runner
who has competed in cross country since middle school, and he joined the track team last spring as well. His ath- letic development has been remarkable, and as a senior he is a strong, fluid runner serving the boys’ team. His times continue to drop, and he is another senior boy provid- ing strong, steady leadership for his younger teammates in workouts and races. Chace’s coaches and teammates greatly appreciate the dedica- tion and heart he displays on a daily basis. Thank you, Chase!
BENNETT EASTRIDGE
Bennett brings a cheerful, un- selfish attitude to cross coun- try and track every day. He
is a key member of a group
of boys who started running together in middle school and have now matured into the heart and soul of the boys’ team. Bennett knows how to keep his teammates laughing, but when the workout or race begins, he is all business. His race times have improved dramatically as the years have progressed, and he looks poised for a fantastic senior season.
EMILY JARMOSEVICH
Emily is a very strong athlete with a background in soccer, who decided to commit to cross country as a senior. It became immediately evident that she is meant to be a distance runner. Just as she does in the classroom, Emily is curious and eager to learn new things. With well-devel- oped fitness and a strong run- ning stride, she has improved every day, and is poised for an excellent season. We are thrilled that Emily joined us this year.
CAM EGAN
Cam is a thoughtful young man and a consummate student-athlete who excels
in the classroom and also contributes to the varsity swimming team. Cam has served the cross country team all four years that he has been at Latin. He is a kind and supportive teammate who always looks to the better- ment of the whole team, and sets a great example with his work ethic and team spirit. Cam has pushed himself hard, as he always does, in
his workouts this season, and he looks great in the early season races.
SOFIA GOMEZ
Sofia has brought a tough work ethic and cheerful ded- ication to the cross country team since her freshman year. As a senior, she arrived at the first practice this season fit from a summer of consistent- ly working out in her running and strength training, setting a perfect example for her teammates. Sofia is having
an impressive senior season, challenging herself on a breakthrough level in work- outs, while effectively mento- ring her younger teammates. Congratulations to Sofia for such a successful career in the cross country program!
      MILLIE HOLTZ
We are always impressed when a Latin senior chooses
to join the cross country team as a “rookie.” This requires a special kind of willingness to work hard and learn something new. Millie is a high achiever, and she has fit right in with her more experienced teammates. Millie has already attained several strong 5K finishes, and she is improving every day. We are proud of Millie and grateful that she has joined us for her senior year.
