Mpower

In 2016 Neerja Birla launched Mpower, a first-of-its-type social enterprise promoting
mental health awareness, outreach and clinical services. State-of-the-art Mpower
Centres in Mumbai, Bangalore and Goa provide comprehensive clinical, psychological
and psychiatry services.

CENTRE Sited in downtown Mumbai’s Fort area, TABIS’
modern seven-storeyed building offers six speech and
language therapy labs, two occupational therapy and sensory
integration gyms, a library housing 2,000 print volumes, art
room, temperature-controlled classrooms, audio-visual aids,
computer lab, multi-purpose hall, science labs and counselling
rooms.

LEFT The school’s 150 students are mentored by 63 highly-
qualified special needs educators, including occupational and
speech therapists, psychiatrists and shadow teachers.
