ABOVE HXLS students excel in the school-leaving exams of the CBSE and IB exam boards. In the
2019 class XII exam of CBSE, the school’s students averaged 90 percent.

I Am A Teacher

In 2015 disillusioned with India’s obsolete teacher education institutions which churn
out unemployable B.Ed teachers by the thousands, Jain co-founded I Am A Teacher
(IAAT) together with three Harvard University alumni. IAAT has signed up with Boston
Teacher Residency to offer a one-year full-time PGDLT programme delivered by top-
notch faculty (Harvard, Cambridge, IIT, Texas, Michigan graduates). Over the past five
years since it was inaugurated, IAAT has certified 125 teachers who have been readily
welcomed into top-ranked schools countrywide. This year's batch of 75 will graduate
soon. In 2018 IAAT launched its second centre at the American School of Bombay.
