like Nike (goddess of victory), Nemesis (goddess of revenge), and Hypnos (god of sleep).
Greek mythology is especially interesting because of the way it tells stories and the way the gods actually commune with humans. In some cases they are based in real events. In others it is all fiction. Another reason is the variety of characters and situations. It not only has gods but monsters, heroes, killings, hate, and of course, love.
Another interesting fact is that most gods had children with humans. These were called demigods. Some famous ones are Hercules, Orpheus, and Helen of Troy. The realistic ways in which these myths are told, and how interesting they are has made them last for years, and hopefully, they’ll last for years to come.
