  PREWRITING
• Read the sentence several times.
• Start writing what comes to your mind. (words, sentences even
pictures)
• Turn the words you just wrote into detail sentences. • Be creative!
WRITING
• Start writing your first draft with the details you just wrote.
• You are free to have your own way of writing (this is the voice
of the writer) as long as it makes sense.
• Remember to have interesting characters they are going to be
the ones that make your story a good one.
• You have to give a complete description of the characters and
setting, this way the reader will feel like he is part of the story. It should almost feel real.
EDITING
• Always check for subject–verb agreement.
• Remember to check that verb tenses are consistent.
• Can the reader imagine what you imagined?
• Does the reader understand and care about the characters? • Is it original and, of course, creative?

    PROOFREADING
• Check for errors.
PUBLISHING
• Rewrite your story.
• Share it with the class.
