            How to Use This Course Catalogue

            Our courses are clustered by topic, for easy reference and access. iSDC delivers core occupational health and safety
            courses, computer training and specializes in support core courses required for unregulated workers in frontline
            professions such as addictions, mental wellness, personal support, youth services, disabilities or student support and care,
            with a focus on indigenous and Northern communities and working context.

            Each course has a brief description; course code; title and number of accredited course hours for the average length of
            time it takes to complete the course, and cost per seat. However, because it is online, you can stop and start your course,
            and complete it at your own pace. Unless your employer has assigned you a course to complete within a prescribed time,
            once you have paid for the seat, you are self-directed to undertake the course.

            Course Monitoring and Instruction

            Each course has a Facilitator or Co-Facilitators that are responsible to oversee your learning; mark any assignments;
            approve grades achieved; and communicate with you on your progress. They are also responsible to ensure that you have
            achieved the minimum pass mark required for the accredited course (between 70 to 85%, depending on the course), and
            will work with you ensure your successful completion of the course.

            Requesting Your Certificate

            In each course, there is a page to Request your Certificate from iSDC.

            Upon verification, we will issue to your email on file, a colour and signed course Certificate.
