Earning Nationally Recognized Course Credits for Professional Certification

ilinniapaa Skills Development Centre is pleased to have been granted national accreditation of our Inuit Community
Support Worker courses that were developed in collaboration with Tungasuvvingat Inuit (TI) under the 2017-2020 Inuit
CSW diploma program. Through the Indigenous Certification Board of Canada (ICBOC), you can apply your course credit
hours as formally recognized professional development credits toward a Certificate or Diploma.

These online courses were designed to reflect the national competencies required for unregulated positions in community
support functions and organizations, and as you read the course descriptions, each course indicates the number of credit
hours. When you successfully complete a course, your Certificate will indicate ICBOC-
accreditation with their logo next to the course hours.
For more information on ICBOC’s Certificate or Diploma programs, contact them at
registrar@icboc.ca or to request an application to begin your professional Certification journey go
