De Kaapse Brandewijn Kompanjie
Pays homage to the origin of South African Brandy. From the Dutch word “brandewijn” – burnt or distilled wine – South Africa’s first barrel of brandy was distilled aboard the Dutch ship, De Pijl, anchored in Cape Town’s Table Bay Harbour in 1672.
It is no coincidence that
De Kaapse Brandewijn Kompanjie, a First Edition XO Brandy, was launched in the last quarter
of 2022 to celebrate 350 Years
of South African Brandy.
