What to do.
Some of the most common time-sensitive MEDICAL EMERGENCIES.
1. Cardiac and Circulatory Medical Emergencies.
• Cardiac Arrest: When the heart suddenly stops. If not treated immediately the patient will die.
• Heart Attack: When the bold supply to part of the heart stops.
Immediate attention is needed. Otherwise, that section of the heart muscle start to die. The earlier the intervention, the less damage to the muscle, the greater chance for the patient to survive.
• Deep Vein Thrombosis: A blood clot that forms within a deep vein, usually in the leg. If it breaks loose, it can travel through the bloodstream into the lungs and cause a pulmonary embolism.
Symptoms: Swelling, pain, or tenderness not caused by injury; skin is warm when touched; redness or discoloration of the skin.

Since our first vintage, Haute Cabrière has specialised in the exploration of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. Our wines are a true celebration of terroir – the marriage of sun, soil and vine
– together with man’s passion and fearlessness.
Surrounded on three sides by mountains with varying soils and slopes, Franschhoek’s terroir is undoubtedly distinctive. At Haute Cabrière, we love thoughtful simplicity and so do not over manipulate fruit but follow gentle cellar practices to showcase our terroir. Combine this with a passion for innovation and colouring outside the lines and you end up with a range of quality wines from Franschhoek composed of pioneering blends and intriguing single varietals for you to enjoy.
