thankfully we always hear the bold and steady voice of God
Over this past year many people were asking, “Why is this happening? How long will it last? Where is God in all of this?” However, our workers remained strong. One said, “Thankfully we always hear the bold and steady voice of God. He is always there and He is leading us.”
“In spite of the pandemic, 2,341 new communities were established last year. The season of hardship was turned into a season of harvest!”
Thank you for your encouragement and partnership. These stories of miracles, healing and hope are a small snapshot of the fruit of your partnership.
Fasting and prayer have always been a vital part of our work. During COVID this was especially important.
“We hold prayers at 5am every morning for those
who are new to the flock. Some of these were once against us. Now they are joined to us. Pray that our prayers would be effective and they would love Him passionately,” said field worker Priya*.
“Mr. K* was firmly against us. He began to suffer
from serious abdominal pain, vomiting and mouth infections. He was not even able to drink water! There was no relief for him. Due to lockdown doctors were not available. He asked his wife to bring him to me for prayer. Hearing the knock I opened the door and was astonished to see Mr K and his wife at my door step. In those days my family and I were fasting and praying. We prayed for him and he experienced immediate relief from his intolerable pain and could eat and drink normally! Mr K is thankful to God and attending my gathering now. God is working miracles during lockdown, even though we are not able to travel
as easily into villages to share the message!” says Pooja*.
“Lockdown and isolation has disrupted lives. But for us, prayer is the bond that strengthens us. Even now we are reaching out to people and God is at work,” declared Yusuf* another of our field workers.
