 the importance of prayer
Laksh* and his family have encountered numerous and horrific trials in their lives. Through prayer and your generous partnership they are now able to live a life transformed and share this hope with many others.
His sister was forced to marry young and was stabbed to death by her own husband. His son and eldest daughter passed away unexpectedly. And, at one point Laksh became severely ill. The family were devastated and burdened by grief.
In desperation, Laksh reached out for prayer. He experienced complete and miraculous healing. This was a new beginning for him. With a new lease on life he joined a Training Centre and graduated in 2011. After his graduation, he began to speak to people in his village but his work soon grew.
“Now more than 330 men, women and children from 13 villages are attending my gatherings.”
“All of them are from tribal backgrounds. Some travel as far as 25 miles to reach us so they can attend the gathering. But all of them are happy and have a different story to tell!”
Laksh has trained and equipped 20 field workers and is overseeing 16 men and 4 women workers. Growth like this is only possible through partnership. Thank you.
