Field Worker stories
nothing can shut down my desire to demonstrate God’s love
Baba* travels long distances and reaches new villages with the help of his bicycle. This year he met many people who were suffering and reached out to them with food and other practical help. He was personally able to reach nearly 750 new people! Baba regularly follows them up via the phone and WhatsApp. In one month, 30 of them were immersed in water.
“Whether it is natural disaster, trials or pandemic, nothing can shut down my desire to demonstrate God’s love for these people. In a situation like this people are really longing for someone’s care and love. It is a joy to visit the needy, encourage them and offer help in whatever way I can,” said Baba.
Danik* is one of our 2019 graduates. He reached out to 10 new villages and impacted 35 families during COVID.
At the same time, another 2019 graduate is the first worker amongst a new people group. Bursa* walks several kilometres to meet with 56 people in one village who have now received the truth. Bursa is married with six daughters, two of whom are field workers. He has raised up seven more men and women from his tribe to serve as field workers. Together they are now transforming their people group!
