Full-time employees earn PTO as follows:

                                Year of Service Time Off
1st year of employment Fourteen (14) days

2nd through 5th year of employment Eighteen (18) days
                                6th through 15th year of employment Twenty-three (23) days

16th year of employment and following Twenty-seven (27) days

               Accrued PTO Maximum
Employees may generally carry over PTO from one year to the next. However, to encourage employees to use PTO,
there is a cap on the amount of PTO that can be accumulated. PTO accrual is capped at one and one half times an
employee’s annual PTO accrual rate. Once the cap is reached, an employee will not be able to accumulate any more

PTO until some of the PTO is used and drops below the cap. After PTO goes below the cap, employees can begin
               accruing PTO again.

               Procedure
Requests for PTO should be submitted to your supervisor as soon as practicable. PTO requests are approved by
your immediate supervisor and are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event of a conflict in PTO

requests, your supervisor will consider the Consortium’s staffing needs during the relevant period, as well as the
length of service with the Consortium of the employees involved.

               Bereavement Leave

Employees will receive up to 5 of paid time off in the event of the death of a member of their immediate family.
Immediate family includes spouses, domestic partners, children, parents, parents-in-law, brothers or sisters, and
brothers-in-law or sisters-in-law. You are allowed 3 of paid leave in the event of the death of an extended family

member. Extended family includes grandparents, aunts and uncles, and other more distant relatives.

               Military Service Leave

Employees serving in the uniformed services, including the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard,
National Guard, state militia and Public Health Service commissioned corps, as well as the reserve components of

each of these services, may take unpaid military leave, as needed, to enable them to fulfill their obligations as
servicemembers. Servicemembers must provide advance written or verbal notice to the Consortium for all military
duty, unless giving notice is impossible, unreasonable, or precluded by military necessity. Employees should provide
