LARC’S ACADIAN VILLAGE
LARC’s Acadian Village was created as a means to preserve Acadian
heritage and culture, promote tourism, and give individuals with intel-
lectual and developmental disabilities served by LARC a place to
prosper in the workplace. Original Acadian homes have been restored
to their original appearance and are furnished with authentic Acadian
artifacts. The Village offers year-round tours and special events.
In addition, LARC’s Acadian Village hosts Noel Acadien au Village,
LARC’s 23-night Christmas festival fundraiser annually in December.
Noel Acadien au Village features half a million lights, including the
fully lit Chapel, lighted holiday displays, live entertainment, carnival
rides, local cuisine, photos with Santa, holiday shopping in the store,
and much more!
