CHIMICHURRI & PIRI PIRI SAUCES


      Recipes for BLDG 5 sauces from their delicious Steak & Potato Grazing Board.


      Chimichurri                   Piri Piri
      Makes 1 cup                   Makes 1 cup
      ½  bunch fresh parsley        ½ cup roasted red peppers
      ½ bunch fresh cilantro        ½ tsp. chopped fresh parsley

      2 cloves fresh garlic         ½ tsp. chopped fresh basil
         peeled & chopped           1 clove fresh garlic

      ½ tsp. kosher salt               peeled & chopped
      ⅓ tsp. crushed red pepper     1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
      ⅓ tsp. ground black pepper    3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
      ⅓ tsp. granulated sugar       ⅓ tsp. kosher salt

      4 tsp. red wine vinegar       1 - 2  pinches ground black pepper
      ¾ cup extra virgin olive oil  1 - 2 pinches cayenne pepper


      Finely chop all herbs and place   Add all ingredients to blender

      into mixing bowl.             and start blending at low speed.


      Add the rest of the ingredients   Then move up to high speed for
      and stir for 1 minute or until fully   90 seconds or until smooth.

      combined.
