Mammaw’s Biscuits




      4 cups biscuit mix   Heat oven to 375˚F. Blend mix  and
      2 cups sour cream    sour cream in pastry blender.  Add 7UP
      ¼ cup 7UP or Sprite  or Sprite until a dough ball forms. Roll ½
       (more or less)
                           dough at a time on counter - use more
      ½ stick butter
                           biscuit mix to keep it from sticking to the
                           counter and rolling pin.


                           Melt the butter in a skillet. Using a round
                           cutter 2-3 inches in diameter, cut the
                           biscuits and place in the skillet making sure to dip both sides in the melted butter.


                           Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
