Blessings to the Vicar, Managing Committee, Various Navathi
Celebration Committees, and all the faithful of St. Thomas Indian
Orthodox Pazhayapalli, Ahmadi, Kuwait.
Dearly Beloved in Lord,
My hearty congratulations on the occasion of the Navathi celebrations
of the St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Pazhayapally, Ahmadi, Kuwait. Being
the first parish in Kuwait, the church has honoured it by conferring the
title, Pazhayapally. Let us express our gratitude to God Almighty for His
bountiful blessings bestowed on us. This milestone is a testament to your prayers, diligence, and
commitment to the development and growth of the parish.
As we reflect on our past, we are reminded of the many ways God has blessed us and the
opportunities, He has provided us to serve the community. We remember with gratitude and
prayers, the pioneering efforts and sacrifices of the clergy and laity, who helped establish this
parish. The journey which started as a small prayer group with 36 members in 1934 has grown
into a thriving parish; a testimony to the strength of our faith and the unity of our community.
We honour the legacy of those who laid the foundation of St. Thomas Pazhayapally and look
forward to building on their efforts.
St. Thomas Pazhayapally, has always been in the forefront of supporting the mission activities in
North India, initiated by Theodosius Thirumeni. I am happy that as part of the Navathi celebrations,
a souvenir is being published to support the charitable projects, you have envisaged. May all
your charitable acts be fruitful and bring you abundant blessings. I applaud the vicar, the trustee,
the secretary, the managing Committee members and the members of the souvenir committee
for their dedicated efforts.
As we celebrate this significant achievement, let us also renew our commitment to upholding
the values and traditions that have sustained us through the decades. With God’s continued
guidance and blessings, let us strive to deepen our spiritual lives and extend our service to
those in need, ensuring that St. Thomas Pazhayapally remains a beacon of faith and hope for
generations to come.
My prayers and blessings!
Your Shepherd in the Lord,
