snake), although some say they could have been warm-blooded ( like you and me,
or your dog), others say that they could have been both, the debate is sll raging
on. Some DINOSAURS walked on four legs, some used only two. We think that
they might have had fur or hair on their body even feathers for some , and most
had a ny brain the size of a pea!
Some DINOSAURS were enormous, while others were very small and
tiny. The largest DINOSAUR found so far was 36 m ( 118 ft) long and 20 m (65
ft)tall and weighted about 77 tons - as much as 14 african elephants- and was an
herbivore, eang only plants, yep, he was vegetarian! Its name is
ARGENTINASAURUS, what a name hey!?.. The next one in size would be the
BRACHIOSAURUS as high as a four storey building and weighted about 70 tones,
not talking about the SUPERSAURUS and the ULTRASAURUS who werealso
around 30 m long and possibly as high as a five storey building!
One of the smallest DINOSAURS is a two-legged predator called
MICRORAPTOR just 39 cm long. The smallest DINOSAUR found (so far) is a bird
like creature, as big as a keyring called OCULUDENTAVIS. He was just 1.27cm (0.5
inch)weighting probably around 2.9g (0.1 oz) .
But now let me introduce our guest for this book speaking
exclusively to us about DINOSAURS, from Scotland, Ladies and Gentlemen, the
one and only ; NESSIE!!
