Nature Babies
“What’s this!?” Our Nature Babies get that look on their faces when they touch the turtles or explore the forest floor for natural treasures. Join us for a class of seeing, touching, and crafting. Dress for the weather, wear clothes and shoes for playing and painting!
Tadpoles
What a great way for parents or grandparents to jump-start their toddler’s love of nature! Toddlers love to explore, play, and touch. So this class is geared towards hands-on experiences, hikes and discovery learning. We’ll have snacks too! Dress for the weather, wear clothes and shoes for playing and painting!

Parents, grandparents, and toddlers ages 1-3 join us for
an open house to take a peek at our nature babies and tadpoles program! We will meet for circle time to discuss seasonal topics. We will make crafts, enjoy snacks, and a story with a visit from one of our animal friends here at
the center! After our craft we will take a hike on our most popular trail to look for signs of the season. This is a free event, but please RSVP beforehand for a head count by either calling the nature center at 815-741-7277 or emailing Miss Charley at misscharleysnatureclass@gmail.com. We are welcoming new and previous tadpoles/nature babies for a fun seasonal themed party.
