HAPPENINGS AROUND THE HILL
CONGRATULATIONS TO KENDAL STEVENSON
Pleasant Hill’s own Kendal Stevenson, and player for Huntington High School’s
Lady Raiders Basketball Team, was honored along with her team members at a
Ring Ceremony to celebrate their LHSAA Division 1 State Championship victory.
The ceremony was held August 9, 2025 at the Huntington Gymnasium. Kendal
also served as one of the program participants. Bro. Kenneth Epperson, District
12 Commissioner, gave remarks at the program as well. The many community sponsors who contributed toward the cost of the championship rings were also acknowledged. Kendal is the daughter of Kevin and Latosha Stevenson and granddaughter of Pleasant Hill members, Bro. Michael Sr. and Sis. Barbara Hubbard.
We are proud of Kendal and her teammates for their championship win and the representation they gave, not only for their school, but for the City of Shreveport and our Caddo Communities as well.
