YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT
By Cassandra Ragster
Azariah Adams
Azariah Adams is a delightful and insightful 16-year-old young woman interested
in the medical profession. She is currently a junior at North DeSoto High School in Stonewall, Louisiana, and will be part of the graduating class of 2027. After graduating from high school, Azariah plans to attend Louisiana State University Eunice in Lafayette, Louisiana, where she plans to pursue studies to become an Ultrasound Technician and Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
Azariah is a member of the North DeSoto High School Dazzlers Dance Team and possesses the athletic ability to perform a headstand. She has excelled in her academic studies, achieving Honor Student status, making the Principal’s List, and being recognized as a class favorite.
Additionally, Azariah actively participates in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Youth Ministry. She is involved in the Kingdom Kidz Youth Choir, the Liturgical Arts Ministry, and the Majestic Praise Dance Ministry.
Azariah is the daughter of Kia and Darien Jones. She admires her mother, Kia, for her unwavering dedication to providing for the family. Azariah treasures the advice her parents have given her: “Don’t start things that you know you aren’t going to finish.” She strives to abide by this advice when making decisions in her life.
In her future career, Azariah hopes to help others and draws inspiration from her favorite scripture, Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (KJV).
We look forward to witnessing the remarkable achievements of Azariah Adams in the future. ============================================================================================================
