  HAPPENINGS AROUND THE HILL
“Congratulations to our Pleasant Hill Ladies”
Both PHBC members, Sis. Vivian Andrews and Sis. Zazell Dudley were two of six ladies nominated for the prestigious Virginia K. Shehee Most Influential Woman Award. The program was held on March 6, 2025, at the East Ridge Country Club, and the winner was Sis. Vivian Andrews. The award recognizes business women, civic leaders, and philanthropists that have made significant contributions to our community and whose leadership, influence, poise, and determination are demonstrated throughout the community and beyond. One of several requisites that nominees must possess is that they must have shown a commitment to philanthropy by helping children, the elderly, those in need,
the arts, business development, education, and/or other acts of caring. We are proud
that our members have demonstrated such commitments to our community. Sis. Andrews is the former Senior HR Consultant at AEP/SWEPCO and Sis. Dudley is the Director of Economic Development for The Port of Caddo-Bossier. The Virginia Shehee Award is sponsored by Red River Bank and The Shreveport Times.
