Headquarters property. This work was overseen by the
Facilities Management Section and completed in late
2016. The improvements include enhanced parking lot
lighting, upgrades to several monitoring cameras, newly
designed vehicular traffic design to deflect incoming traffic
on the property toward the sides of GHQ, rear gate access
improvement with fob activated lift gate, secured front and
rear street access to protect critical infrastructures.
DCAMM also funds and manages capital projects directly.
These projects include $10 million for significant mechanical
and interior upgrades to the Firearms Range and heating
systems at the SPA, and $1.5 million for disabled access
improvements for SP South Boston, SP Springfield, and SP
Andover.
