Fighting for a
Good Cause
Members of the Massachusetts State Police Boxing
Team presented a $60,000.00 check to Reisa Clardy,
wife of Trooper Thomas Clardy who was killed when his
cruiser was struck on Route 90 in Charlton last March.
The money was raised at the Battle of the Bay Boxing
Tournament in Quincy on September 16th of this
year. The tournament included teams from all over the
world, including, Denver PD, NYFD, various police and
fire departments throughout the Commonwealth, and
as far away as Newcastle upon Tyne, England (Fire and
Rescue). The boxing team would like to thank all the
teams who participated and especially all those who
generously donated to this most worthy cause.
Pictured Below (L to R) are Lt. Charles Murray, Officer
Ashleigh Moore, Reisa Clardy, Trooper John Micciche,
and Sgt. Al Toney (Ret.). Both Officer Moore (Mass
Dept. of Correction) and Trooper Micciche were
recipients of the Fight of the Night award that evening.
