3. As Place.


                                 One of the functions of a noun is to express



                          a  place.  Generally,  we  need  prepositions  to


                          describe  a  place.  These  prepositions  are  front


                          words  such  as  on,  in,  and  at.  It  can  be  a



                          preposition of place or an adjective of place.


                                   Example                               Explanation


                          •  Maria  is  at  the  Noun + be + Preposition.



                              Library.                        Preposition means a place.


                          •  Students              study  Noun + be + Adjective.



                              English  at  the  An  adjective  means  a


                              school.                         place.




                      4. As Adjective.


                                 An  adjective  describes  a  Noun.  Adjectives



                          modify nouns. Modify means Change a little. It


                          means different meanings to a Noun. Adjectives


                          come  in  front  of  Nouns  follow.  Common Adj.:


                          Beautiful - Ugly, Big - Little, Big - Small, Cheap



                          - Expensive, Clean – Dirty.
