C. KIND OF ADJECTIVES
1. Numeral Adjectives
An adjective of number is an adjective that
shows the exact number of persons or things
denoted by a noun or pronoun. An adjective of a
number can also demonstrate a noun’s position or
place in a specific order. This is also known as a
numeral adjective. Adjectives of numbers are
used with countable nouns.
a. Definite Numeral
Definite numeral adjectives denote the
exact number of nouns or their exact position.
Numbers that show how many objects there
are, such as (one, two, three, four and so on)
are called cardinals. Numbers that indicate the
serial order in which an object is located are
ordinal or level.
