FIRST AID

All accidents must be:

● Documented in the Accident Book;

● Notified to the manager in charge and the

First Aider who will provide First Aid
treatment;

● If the accident is serious, call 999 (112 from a

mobile) for the emergency services;

ACCIDENT RESPONSE

● For minor accidents, contact one of the First
Aiders;

● The First Aider shall collect the First Aid box
and assess if further treatment is required;

● If the accident is minor, the First Aider shall
apply First Aid treatment if required;

● If the accident is serious, call emergency

services IMMEDIATELY;

● Immediately notified to the manager in

charge if emergency services have been
contacted;

● Upon arrival, the manager shall co-ordinate
arrangements to direct the ambulance to the

location of the accident.
