Second Chance Alert!

Second Chance is a tool for Outlook and Microsoft 365 that gives City of Post Falls employees a warning
message before you visit a potentially unsafe or unknown website. Users who click URLs within emails,
Microsoft 365 files, or PDF files will receive an alert from Second Chance:

Review the URL. If it's the link you were expecting you may choose to open the link.

External Email Warning Banner
Emails that come from outside our
organization are automatically marked
with a banner at the top of the message.
This banner is a reminder that:
The sender is not part of our
organization.
The email may contain unsafe links,
attachments, or requests.
You should be extra cautious before
clicking links, downloading files, or
Safe practice: replying.
Verify the sender before responding.
Hover over links to check the true destination.
Report anything suspicious to IT.

⚠ Remember: Just because an email has the external banner does not mean
it is unsafe, but it is your signal to stop and think before acting. Please review
