I have worked for Essex since November 2004, having been part of the BRE
acquisition in 2014. I began my tenure with the company as a Leasing Assistant at
Pinnacle at Carmel Creek in San Diego. I worked my way up the chain to a
Community Manager.
In 2013 I was brought on to the IT team as an Application Support Specialist where
Jameson I supported 7 systems including Yardi, Ops Technology, DocuSign, etc. From there
I grew into my current role as an IT Developer. Presently I am responsible for
Atlas report writing, data corrections/protection, and new system
IT Developer II implementations/upgrades. I enjoy my current role because I get to spend my
time trying to make all our associates’ lives easier.
Fun Fact: I love to run and am an avid marathoner. I have completed 7 half and 3
full marathons. In 2013 I had to give up running to pursue my education, but
since graduating in May 2020 I am eager to get back to my passion.
I have been with Essex for exactly a year and a half. I started off as a Leasing Agent
because I was coming from the world of Real Estate and for some reason, I thought
property management would be a similar field. That could not have been further
from the truth, but I was lucky enough to be working with a fantastic team who
showed me the ropes.
Jessica After 6 months, I was promoted to Assistant Community Manager at PE Lofts
Hill which is the position I currently hold. I have been massively impressed with Essex
as a company. I have never worked for a company where I felt so encouraged to
Assistant
grow and progress as a professional. My managers and regional manager have
Manager –
PE Lofts been unbelievably supportive and have shown nothing but confidence in my
abilities, which has made my work environment feel more like a team
environment!
Fun Fact: I was a Laker Girl for 4 years and was a Lakers TV host for 4 years.
