It’s Christmas Farm-stay time
Maisie cocked her head to one side listening intently. “Hey guys, the dog
parents are coming home early - I can hear their car”.
“Ooh”, said Rosie. “I
wonder why? Maybe
they’re bringing new
ducks? I do like new
ducks. They all have
different flavours
depending what colour
they are”.
“I did not know that” said
Maisie. “Which colour
tastes best? I’ve only had
chicken - I haven’t tried
duck”.
“I like the brown ones” said Rosie decisively. “They taste like chocolate. But
even better than duck is Guinea Fowl. They taste like all your favourite foods
mixed together. One day, I’m going to taste Gary Guinea Fowl.”
Tucker interjected: “We were talking about why the
Dogparents are coming home early. I think they’re
bringing a new ball to play with me”.
“Nope” said BJ. “I’m pretty sure it’s to bring me
ras’bry jam on toast - my very favourite thing!”.
