He took me to his caravan, and I met Juniper and tried on my costume for the evening. Juniper

and I talked about the act and she showed me the moves I would need. Then Arnie the Carnie

took me to meet Sabre, the elephant. Sabre took me through the act, and we practiced over
the course of the afternoon and shared some stories. Sabre told me that Arnie the Carnie

sends money back to where she’d come from to set up a fund to create an elephant sanctuary

in Sumatra and protect elephant habitat. Sabre enjoyed doing her act and making people laugh

and be happy especially knowing that she was also helping her extended elephant family back

home.
