arms, held out her hands to her, cry
ing, “ O Peggy! dear Peggy I I ’m so
sorry, but I Ve made everything harder
for you. Mrs. Bagley is angry, oh !
dreadfully. angry, and I don't know
what she will do to you;”
“ I knew she ’d be roused,’1 murmured
Peggy ; “ but no matter, I m not afraid,
