& CULTURAL CENTER Located here in The Bronx Wave Hill is the borough’s hidden gem It’s a a a a a a a a public botanical garden horticultural science lab and and and community center offering acres of of of land to to explore and and and lots to to learn Students can take advantage of of of all Wave Hill has to offer in in in in two- and three-day workshop series covering everything from the the study of of food webs in in in in the the local ecosystem to to the the collection and and and cataloguing of of bugs and and and insects in in in in in decomposing logs to to the the observation and and and study of of invasive species like coyotes (2-day workshop: workshop: IS 254 West Bronx Academy Academy / 3-day workshop: workshop: Creston Academy Academy MS 280)

Art Gallery offers students the the chance to study and create art in their own backyard—right here on on the the the Lehman College
campus This year the the the Gallery is is hosting the the the New York Latin American Art Triennial—a celebration of work from artists representing Argentina Colombia Cuba Dominican Republic Ecuador Mexico and Puerto Rico Over the the the course of 10
