Walk/Run Raises $104,000
for Center for Assault Treatment Services
Runners and walkers alike helped raise $104,000 at Northridge Hospital’s Center for Assault Treatment Services (C•A•T•S) 20th Annual “Victory for Victims 5K/10K Walk/Run.” C•A•T•S is the
only 24-hour/7-day-per-week program providing forensic medical evidentiary examinations and interviews in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys for victims of domestic and sexual violence, child sexual and physical abuse, and victims of human trafficking.
Bringing the Holidays
to Underserved Children
For 21 years, the Holiday Jam has
delighted thousands of children from
Los Angeles Unified School District’s
“Title 1/No Child Left Behind” program. This past December, over 300 under-served children from the San Fernando Valley were invited to the Northridge Hospital Campus to enjoy a day of fun activities, carnival games, a game truck, lunch,
and even a special visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus who gave them a special gift to take home! Thank you to our volunteer partners: CSUN athletics, Granada Hills Rotary, San Fernando Assistance League, Premier America Credit Union, Calcom Credit Union, Nickelodeon Actors, and NHMC staff, volunteers, and Pet Therapy team.
21st Annual Pump Foundation Celebrity Dinner Raises $1.6 Million
The 21st Annual Harold & Carole Pump Foundation Dinner returned to the Beverly Hilton’s main ballroom in August 2021. The event, known as the Grammy’s of Sports, raised $1.6 Million to support Northridge Hospital’s Carole Pump Women’s Center, Harold & Carole Pump Department of Radiation Oncology,
and the Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Cancer Center.
Honorees included Isiah Thomas, John Calipari, Gale Greene, Dan Schwab, and the great Smokey Robinson who received the 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of the Pump Foundation.
33rd Annual Golf Classic Raises $182,000
Northridge Hospital Foundation’s 33rd Annual Golf Classic was
a successful sold out event that raised $182,000 toward the purchase of three new Intravascular Ultrasound Machines (IVUS).
IVUS imaging offers advanced visualization
that enables the physician
to tailor treatment during
a procedure. A special
thanks to Mehrdad Ariani, MD, Cardiologist for joining us
at our reception and sharing the importance of this new purchase.
