About the Authors

               James G. Wilson

James Wilson is a biotech innovator, systems thinker, and
the visionary founder of Zea Biosciences - a company
redefining how biologic medicines are manufactured,
delivered, and scaled. With over two decades of
entrepreneurial experience across technology, real estate,
and industrial operations, Jim has built a reputation for
translating complex platforms into scalable, cost-effective
               solutions that challenge industry norms.

Before launching Zea, Jim founded AquaHarvest
Technologies—now Fresh Box Farms—where he led the
company through commercialization and helped pioneer
modern indoor farming. He holds multiple pending patents
spanning plant science, biomanufacturing systems, and
delivery platforms, and has been written for national grants
from the USDA, DOE, and NSF.

A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University in Economics
and Industrial Management, and a former U.S. Naval pilot,
Jim brings a mission-driven approach to every venture. He
also mentored MIT students and supports numerous
charitable initiatives in the Boston area.

Jim’s work lives at the frontier of biology and
infrastructure, where plants become platforms and access
becomes a design principle. His mission is to build a
decentralized, responsive drug supply chain—one that
transcends cold chains, clinic walls, and cost barriers to
deliver transformative therapies faster, more affordably, and
within reach of every community on Earth.
